Baby Daddy Drama

MySpace Friend Writes..
Hi. I’m almost 19. I have a son with my ex-boyfriend. I live with my son and my new boyfriend, whom I love dearly, but sometimes I wonder how things would have been if me and my ex worked out. You see, there were a lot of problems in our relationship. It practically started out as a problem. When my ex and I first got together, he was with another girl. They had a relationship for 7 or 8 years, and he cheated on her with me on and off for 2 years.

Then he was lying to me, cheating on me, just constantly messing up. I'd catch him in so many lies, but it seemed he always knew what to say to get out of it, or he'd try to explain his way thru. When I was pregnant with our son, he left me for her. I tried to get him to come back, but he wouldn't. He would tell me how he was so against abortion, but when I threatened him and said "if you are going to make me do this alone then I am just getting an abortion" he was okay with it. He actually gave me the money to get the procedure done. I was devastated that he was really leaving, but I was going to have the baby with or without him. Like I said, I was desperate, and it was just a threat.

Anyhow, he chose to be with her. I'd call to talk to him about the baby inside me and he wouldn't get on the phone because she didn’t want him talking to me. What u know...he did it behind her back. After a while, he came back to me. Now, he's cheated on her with me, cheated on me with her, left her for me, left me for her, and now left her again. At the time I was infatuated. I thought he was the guy of my dreams and we'd work things out. He'd tell me how I was the one, and when certain songs would play on the radio he'd say how he's gonna play them at our wedding. When he was with me everything felt perfect. I thought I'd found my prince charming at last. Then he started constantly hanging out with his friends, getting tattoos, and going to the strip club all of the time while I sat at home achy and pregnant.

I'd beg him to stay, but he wouldn't. He'd just tell me to come with. It really agitated me because I hurt so bad and he'd go out 5 or 6 days of the week late at night. He'd work all day then come home around 8, get ready, and leave again. I was pregnant. I wanted to be at home with him. All of this occured between 6 and 9 months of pregnancy. I already hadn't seen him all day. It would have been nice to have spent some time together. I didn't want him leaving again, and I certainly didn't want to be out until 4 a.m. He even did this to me on Valentines Day. Later on I found out that he had been with her.

One day out of the blue while I was 9 months pregnant I asked him to take the towels to the basement to be washed. I had to ask him over and over again, so I got ticked of and said I'd do it myself. He freaked out on me and told me I was being a B and to shut the F up, then he slammed the bathroom door in my face. He had never done anything remotely close to that before. He never spoke to me like that, never fought with me, never got angry. It all happened out of nowhere. When I asked him what was wrong with him he told me he couldn't see me anymore. That there was no one else, he just felt weird coming home to me, that something had changed, that all I do anymore is irritate him. He said that he was only happy when he was at work or with friends, and the moment he had to drive home or when he'd think about me he'd get depressed.
Next thing I knew he moved out and was done with me. I would check up on him and I found him and her together one night. When I asked him about it he claimed he wasn’t with her, that his friend was. So I spoke to his friend. Apparently my ex asked him to lie for him. The friend was supposed to tell me that my ex wasn’t with her, but his friend told me the truth.

It was constant drama. I've heard so many hurtful things from other people that my ex has said. When I caught him cheating on me, he said it was twice. It turned out to be 11 times. When I asked him how much he was spending at the strip club he said he was only paying for drinks, turns out he spent over $400 dollars when our son didn’t even have a crib to sleep in. When I defended him he in turn made me look like an idiot. I was trying to defend his actions of coming back to me to make it right because he loved me and the baby, I looked like a fool. I was told how on his birthday when he blew out his candles that people asked what he wished for and he told them "I wish she would get an abortion."

His ex has even called me to tell me that he has genital warts and that he gave them to her and I should get checked. I did, and I have nothing, but he denies that as well even after he went to a doctor to get treated! I think something is really wrong with him. I got over him and I am with someone else...my current boyfriend.

He is wonderful. He pays all of the baby's expenses. Formula, food, diapers, wipes, clothes, toys...everything. he is very truthful, he doesn’t lie, and he doesn’t cheat on me. He has a bit of a temper, but he treats me well. Now that I am happy with him, my ex is trying to come back into the picture. He doesn't do anything for his son. He doesn’t see him, he's ordered to pay support and is about $3,000 behind, and he doesn’t do a thing. He works 2 jobs, HVAC and construction, but there both under the table so I am not receiving any support. Instead, he is out getting tattoos, going to the strip club, and buying designer clothing. I saw his pictures and he's wearing all Armani and Ed Hardy stuff. It really hurts to know that because we have a hard enough time paying rent, buying food, keeping up with the things the baby needs, and he's out living the life of glamour.

The kiddo is going to need winter clothes, and I need some help. I've said this to my ex via email, and all I get is excuses. He says he's sent all of the checks in, but they were returned to his mother’s boyfriend’s house because they couldn’t read his handwriting. He wrote down that address because he doesn’t want domestic relations to know where he lives. He's shady. I had his sister look thru his check book and she said he only wrote one check to DRS and it was for court costs. Why does he feel the need to lie about everything?

Now, he's trying to come back to me. He tells me he's never stopped loving me, and he wants to try to make it work again. I’m not going back though. I’m happy with my current boyfriend, and one day I would like for us to be married. I know how my ex is. He's a snake and I don’t trust him. But why is it that he keeping playing with my heart. I think the only reason he is trying to come back to me is because he's burned all of his bridges with everyone else. He recently lost the other girl again, and now she is done for good with him. I think he's just lonely and wants anybody.

He's even had the nerve to make out with two of my friends and sleep with another one. He's messed around with even more. It's disgusting. He's turning 21 this month, and he's having sex with girls who are 15-17. He had a threesome with two girls who are 16 and 17, and one of them has Hepatitis C. He doesn’t care what he's doing to his body or how people look at him. He's lost all of his friends, and the only people who want to be around him are young and naive girls. He's taken advantage of everyone he knows, and its making me sick. He's a man whore! He has HPV, Genital warts, Chlamydia, hepatitis, and who knows what else. I’m sure he isn’t telling these girls about it either.

He says he wants to see his boy and work things out with me, but I don’t want either of these. He's already a horrible father. He's told people he wishes I'd have had an abortion...why should he see his son? He wouldn't even sign the paternity papers at the hospital cuz he wasn’t sure if the baby was his, even though he tattooed our sons name on his neck. The baby came out and looks EXACTLY like him. He doesn't even resemble me at all. He signed to have the birth announcement in the paper for me as the mother and him as the father, had this tattoo, and wanted me to give the baby his last name, but made me look like a slut in front of everyone.

He didn’t even spend a single night with me in the hospital. He told me he needed to get some rest, but instead he left the hospital and spent the night with the other girl. Why is he trying to come back to me? I wanted him for soooo long, but it wasn't good enuff. Now that I dont want him, he wants me!!! I need some help. I'm so confused! Please help me!

Response..
Don’t allow yourself to be confused about this situation. It is clear that this young man has been taking advantage of you for quite some time. I know you must have some feelings for him, but don’t allow your heart to deceive you. The father of your child has maturing to do before he can give you the type relationship that you are looking for.

Instead what you need to do is forgive him for all of the hurt that he has caused you. From all that you have shared I feel like you could possibly have unforgiveness and resentment towards him. You also may be harboring anger. The unforgiveness, anger, and resentment that you are carrying around towards him will only hinder you. You have to choose to forgive him so that you can heal and truly move on with your life. As long as you are carrying this burden around he will have power over you.

By constantly remembering all of his offenses you are feeding the anger prolonging forgiveness and healing. You must learn to forgive him daily and leave these offenses and the offender (your ex boyfriend) in God’s hands. Believe me; I know it is easier said than done especially when it hits close to the heart. However, the Word of God tells us that if we do not forgive our offenders than God will not forgive us either. We are also commanded to get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger in our lives.“Your heavenly Father will forgive you if you forgive those who have sinned against you; but if you refuse to forgive them, he will not forgive you.” (Matthew 6:15)“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:31-32)

Also, you should start praying for him. Ask God to intercede and touch his life. He is the father of your child and although you have this new boyfriend nothing will change the fact he is the biological father. I’m sure that deep in your heart you want the best for this young man and you would like to see him be the father to your baby that he needs.

Consider your past decisions and where they have led you. We have an Awesome loving God that longs to help us and guide is on our journey through this life. Allow Him to help you make right decisions for you life. I promise if you will let Him in He will change your life and rock your world. All the love that you long for and direction you seek is found in knowing Christ Jesus.

I will be praying for all of you.

He Cheats But Keeps Sayin All the Right Stuff

MySpacer Wrote: hey its me again well im going through a crazy brake up and i kno that i shouldnt go back with him because he cheated on me 2many times its just hard not to u kno i dont kno wat to do i love so much we have a kid 2getther but i dont want to go back to him he keeps sayin all the right stuff to me and i think im fallin 4it

Response: Hi. I know it's hard to break away from someone when you've invested so much emotion and time into him, especially if you have a child together. I was with my children's father on & off for 10 years. In that time he cheated almost constantly, we'd break up, he'd say all the right things and we'd get back together - for him to do the same thing again.

It takes courage and self control to break this cycle. One of the realizations that helped me see what I had to do was this... how can you make your child happy if you're not happy? God's blessed you with a child and it is your responsibility to provide a loving environment for him/her. Have the father's infidelities and all the arguments that come with that is not healthy, for anyone (you, him or the baby). Even at a young age, children can sense others' emotions.

Aside from being strong for your child, you also have to be strong for yourself. You are a child of God. You are more precious than gold. God's intended for you to be with someone that respects and loves you. You and your partner should have a monogamous relationship.

~ 1 Corinthians 13 ~
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.

Can you build a support chain with a couple of your friends or family members? Like, instead of calling him you call your specific friend instead. Pray for strength. Pray for endurance. Pray for God to help you make the right decision. Whether you're together or not, the both of you have the responsibility of raising your child. Now is the time, especially during hardships like this, when the TWO of you have to take your child into consideration first... before the "You" or "Me" comes into play.

I know it's a difficult time. I will pray for you in your time of need.

Dear Father God, please give her the strength and clarity she needs to make it through this situation. Please provide her with the means and motivation to make the right decisions for her and her child. Give her the opportunity to raise her child in a loving home with both parents active in his/her life.

Your Sister,

Saved By Faith

Garbage In Garbage Out

Written by: Conduit of Truth

Do Not Destroy Your Heart With Your Own Eyes

Be careful of what you intake through the eyes; such as looking at immoral magazines, indecent pictures, bad ideas and immoral movies and stories. There are some magazines, books, and movies that will instill doubt about your beliefs. There are some that will create images that can lead one astray. When faced with such reading material and movies ask yourself, “Will the information in this book/movie/magazine help me to be a better person? Will it help me to reach my goals? Will it draw me closer to Jesus?” If your answer is no, then why waste your time?

Use your time to read positive stimulating books. Read your bible often. It has an example of every life experience that you hope to go through and more.

Do Not Destroy Your Heart With Your Own Mind

One tends to become what you feed your mind. If you eat junk food all the time your body will soon show it. The mind works the same way. If you feed your mind with thoughts of evil, then it will produce evil actions. Immoral stories or movies will lead to immoral actions. This is a situation of garbage in and garbage out. In the bible in the book of Philippians it speaks of how your mind set should be. It says finally brethren what so ever things are true, what so ever things are honest, what so ever things are just, what so ever things are pure, what so ever things are lovely, what so ever things of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise think on these things. (Philippians 4:4-8)

Do Not Destroy Your Life With Friends That Will Pull You Down

It is said that birds of a feather flock together. Be careful of those you call friends. Do not hang around with ones that display bad attitudes, gives wrong advice, speaks against authority, and those with thoughts of evil and not of good. If you run with losers then you will become a loser on the run.

On the other hand associate yourself with the doers, achievers, and the positive life wires and you will stay motivated with love and peace of mind to do good for yourself and for others around you.

Words

Whatever your mouth says the most,
Whatever your eyes see the most,
Whatever your ear hears the most,
Will be what you heart stores the most.

The words stored in your heart will be your life.
Your life is in your heart.
So be careful about what goes in your ear,
Or, what comes out of your mouth.

What you hear
What you see
What you say
Is that what you are right now?
Are you really who you are?

I'm 13 And I Want To Date

Question: im 13 and my mom didnt tell me anything about dating. i wanna date but what if he wants to come over? if i tell him that my mom wont let me have boys over he might break up with me

Answer: 13 yrs old is a very important age… your body’s changing, your hormones are all over the place and it’s easy to lose focus on what’s most important. At this age I believe your main focus should be school. You are entering high school soon and then will be off to college. What you do now will effect you for years to follow. Although your mother hasn’t spoken to you about dating, you still feel she is giving you limitations by saying she won’t let you have boys over. I think you should respect your mom’s wishes. I think you should wait to date. If you were to get involved with someone now, in a sense, you would be lying to your mother. If she doesn’t allow it in the house, do you think she’d be happy with you doing outside of the house? Dating also brings so many more serious situations, issues, complications. You’ll be better equipped to handle these at an older age.

You are a beautiful treasure (Deuteronomy 7:6), a gift from above. God has so many wonderful things planned for your life (Jeremiah 29:11-13)! Take the time to focus on your studies. Take the time to get to know the Lord first. Take the time to build a closer relationship with your mother… one where you two can speak openly about whatever questions you have. Having this line of communication is very important in the household and you will see that it’s very rewarding! You are at a wonderfully exciting age… try to enjoy it without adding complications.

With Love,

Saved By Faith

Internet Love

Anonymous Asks:
Hey. Well Im having a difficult time right now. Im not really sure what to do. I had an internet boyfriend from England, and I have never met him, but we did the whole web cam, and talked on the phone a few times. I managed to fall pretty hard for him. We argued a lot of the time, but we still cared about each other enough to use the word love. I was upset with him, and he decided he would end it for me, because I refused to because I still loved him. Anyway I went to see a friend of mine for the first time, and he only lives a couple hours from me. I really started liking this guy, and I thought things were over with my bf. Nothing happened between me and the other guy. My now ex, wants me back.I really care about him a lot...soo much, he even has a couple of interviews a couple states away from me to be closer, I didn't know this until after we broke it off and I told him about this other guy. Well I really don't know what to do...I had an amazing time with my guy friend, and I think it really has potential. But I really care about my BF and I dont want to hurt either of them. IDK if you know anything about this... it's kinda wild... but advice, would be great if you can help.

ANSWER:
I personally have never had a long distance relationship nor an internet relationship. I know that you may think that you love him but I think that you might be in love with the idea of him. The truth of the matter is that until you actually spend time with someone, face to face, you cant really say that you know them, much less love them.

Regarding the long distance internet b/f, I think you should let him go and move on with your life. Even if he moves a couple of states away its still going to be long distance, which has already proven to be a stressful on your relationship. When you first start off in a relationship spending time together face to face is vital to building strong bonds as well as trust and respect. Also, having a long distance relationship opens the door to a lot of temptation to both of you.

Concerning the other guy I would say be careful. You are in a fragile and vulnerable state. You just broke up with your b/f. You don't want to jump into another relationship on the rebound. I would suggest taking it slow and try to lean towards staying friends with him, rather than start a new relationship. He's also long distance.

My final suggestions would be to date someone closer to home, stop looking for the man, and allow God to bring him to you. You will see that God's ways are much better than ours. You have no idea the good things that God has planned for those that love and obey Him.

I will be praying for God to give you the strength and the wisdom as your making your decision.

Love,
Trophy of Grace

He Said I'm Ugly...

QUESTION: ok in 6th grade i met this boy... mi first boyfriend who treated me bad... ithought... he never wanted to be around me wit his friends n called me names but i relly like him.. he was my first kiss n so i thought at the time love.... we went on n off datin about a year... n then he just dumped me... i was heartbroken.... for nights i cried myself tosleep he hurt me that bad... i thought that this was the way all relationships are... i have garded my heart ever since... then next year this guy liked me so i let him do what he pleased.. i kissed him when he wanted me to n i let him fill me up... i was hurt n confused... i tryed to use him to get over this guy... i dated a many guys since him... once i made the biggest mistake n stayin wit a guy who beat on me... just becasue he made me feel beautiful... i dumped him when i couldnt take it n e more... i dated many guys since him...but i gaurged my heart not to get attached...i even got to the point where i didnt want a guy to tuch me... i wanted a boyfriend but i was afraid if i kissed him or somthing hed say i was wrong or i was ugly or not good enough... recently my first crush from 6th grade got back intouch wit me... he told me that he thought i was ugly back then so he dumped me... n he still thinks that... i dont no y but i give him so much power.... help... i told him it doesnt bother me but it does

ANSWER: I think you should take some time for yourself. Really get to know you and accept and love yourself exactly as you are. God created you as a beautiful treasure. In His eyes, you are more precious than anything on Earth. And that is something you should always remember. Surround yourself with positive friendships. I suggest you go on a “no boyfriend” fast and just take time to draw closer to the Lord. The word of God tells us that if we seek the things of God first… His righteousness, His peace, His direction, His comfort, His will for our life, His kingdom… everything else we want & desire will be given to us b/c as a result of seeking him, our desires will line up with His will for our life.

I would suggest that you reexamine your commitment to Him. He does not desire that you spend your time looking for love from ungodly men that are just going to use and abuse. You are a child of the most High God. Your body is the temple of God and is meant ONLY to be shared with the man that God has for you, your husband. If you keep on this path, you may end up pregnant, unequally yoked with some guy that’s never going to love and appreciate you or your child. You don’t need baby daddy drama. Focus on your studies. Forget about boys for now. Take this time to allow God to help you develop into a beautiful Godly woman, secure with herself & her faith because of what Christ Jesus has done for us.

Insecurities & Low Self Esteem Causing Problems

Anonymous said...
I’m in my mid twenties and have been with my boyfriend a little over two years. When we get along we get along so great! But when we fight (argue) it’s out of control. We both tend to say the most hurtful things to each other and within a day or less we’re over it and happy again. It seems at times that my insecurities and low self-esteem are the cause of our problems but I’ve been this way for so long that I don’t know how to change. I love my boyfriend and I know he loves me but I’m afraid that my insecurities are getting in the way of us being happy together.

Answer..
I remember when my husband and I would fight I was quick to say hurtful words that I would regret once the anger was gone. But once words are said you can not take them back. The damage is already done. With every lash of the tongue respect is lost. The trust starts fading. You must practice self control and try to discuss your problems or disagreements without throwing jabs at each other. The fighting will eventually get old and begin to wear down your relationship. No one wants to constantly be in turmoil and strife.

If you think it's your own insecurities and low self-esteem that are causing the problems then you need to humble your self before God and ask Him to help you. This problem will hinder every relationship that you have. He can show you the root of your insecurities so that you can face them and allow Him to heal you. You do not have to be a slave to them.

I use to have low self-esteem too. I did not think I was pretty enough. I was constantly picking on my self and putting my self down. I may have seemed confident to everyone else but I wasn't. I compared myself to everyone around me. I thought if I just had her hair or this ones lips I would be prettier. It was awful. I'm too fat or too skinny. My hair's too curly so I straighten it. Now it's too straight and I don't know how to style it. I was so insecure in my relationships. I did not trust anyone. It was nuts. That was before I allowed Jesus to heal me.

I learned that God loves me and he made me and formed me just the way I am. I am beautiful because I am His. I am valuable because Jesus died for me. The more time I spend in the Word I don't worry about following anyone. I don't compare myself to anyone else any more. I compare myself to the Word. I long to be all that God has created me to be. I spend more time beautifying and building up my spirit than I do trying to make myself beautiful on the outside.

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewellery and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight." (1 Peter 3:3-4)

My husband tells me that this confidence and love that I have for the Lord makes me even more beautiful to him. I have allowed the Word of God to change me and renew my mind. Now I am now longer enslaved to insecurity and low self-esteem. When it tries to come back to attack my mind I remember who I am in Christ Jesus. I meditate on what His Word says.

So I encourage you to pray for God's help and begin renewing your mind with the Word of God (the bible). The battle is in your mind. (Romans 12:2)I wrote an article on Renewing Your Mind that I believe can help you. Check it out..

Sincerely,

Trophy of Grace

Love Triangle

ANONYMOUS WROTE: (names are changed for anonymity) I was best friends with Noah for 3 yrs. We dated for awhile but things didn’t work out. Noah & I broke things off because he did some really stupid things at his ex’s and he scared everyone. my brother stopped a lot of bad things from happening that night. Another reason why it didn’t work out is because I still had feelings for my ex, Andrew, and he & I would hang out once in awhile. Even though Andrew calls me b/c he wants to see me, we end up arguing. He’s even called his ex to come over before I would leave his house! Well it was Andrew’s birthday and he wanted me to go out to the lake with him so I did... and he ended up ditching me to go with some other girls. So I was hanging out with everyone, enjoying myself when this really gorgeous guy Darren comes up and I looked into his eyes and we connected. We had a great weekend and exchanged numbers. We’ve had some deep talks on the phone. We write each other and he is worried that I love another guy... I do... I think. I told Darren that I love someone else and that didn’t go to well.. I think I messed that up and I really like him.... but I think he will stick with me and work this out. But there’s still Andrew... he keeps calling. He wants me to go out to his farm with him during harvest to keep him company... and I can’t say no.... I’m lost... fer reals

ANSWER: I read your email a couple of times to make sure I fully understand your situation. I think the first thing you should take into consideration is respect… respect given and respect received. Respect given is self respect and the respect you give others. Self respect is very important because it sets a foundation on how you will and will not allow others to treat you. God created you out of His undying love for you. Before you were in your mother’s womb He set forth a life and love for you that you must cherish. “He shaped us in our mother’s womb, and we are marvelous inside and out!” (Psalm 139: 13,14) God’s love combined with prayer should inspire you, give you the insight and self-respect and love you need in order to make sound decisions in every area.

Deut. 7:16; Song of Solomon 1:15; Zech. 2:8

The drama with Noah sounds like he lacks self control. Although you built a friendship with him originally, he seems a little unstable. God wants His children to be stable… to be rooted. The bible uses the analogy of building your house on rock or sand (Matthew 7:24-27). Let me briefly explain:

If you build a house on sand and a terrible storm comes, you’re house is going to fall apart because it wasn’t built on a strong foundation. But if you build your house on the rock, it will last through the storm.

For Noah, his careless ways are like building his house on sand. Eventually, it’s going to fall apart. Situations like this are when you really have to evaluate your friendships. I suggest that you pray for him. His being out of control at his ex’s house shows that he’s allowed the enemy to work in his life, taking full control. Pray that Noah finds love in the Lord and is able to settle his ways in order to better provide for his children and himself. Be positive, stay focused, and pray for his salvation. It is very important that we pray for not only our friends and family, but also for those who have hurt us.

The best gift anyone can give to another is to pray for him or her. We live in a sinful world where bad things happen to people and people are tempted to sin. Praying for another person not only helps that person find God in the midst of trouble, but also helps us recognize the blessings that God gives us daily!

Andrew and you seem to be caught in a yo-yo effect, going up and down. This is also not a healthy situation and is like you building on sand too. His blatant lack of respect should serve as a reminder for you… God intended you to be with someone that is respectful, that loves you wholeheartedly, and has a growing relationship with the Lord. I would suggest you not go to the farm to visit Andrew. Take some time to yourself. Meditate in the Word. Read and really try to understand the good things our Heavenly Father has planned for you. He will bring you someone that does not cause so much despair.

"May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance?" (2 Thessalonians 3:5)

Darren is new and exciting. New and exciting should still be taken at a slow pace. Love is something very serious and isn’t shared with just anyone. It takes time to build your relationship with God so why wouldn’t the same apply to a guy?? Develop a friendship with Darren, don’t rush into anything. Always work on your relationship with the Lord first, making sure you are rooted in your faith. God will bring your mate in your life in His due time. Be patient.
