He Believes He is His Own God & Supports Satanism


Anonymous Writes... please help me sister. I have this friend who also happens to be an ex-boyfriend of mine. We didnt talk for ages and only started talking again this year? (broke up last year) He is VERY opinionated and believes that he is his own God and supports satanism. Being christian I wanted to help him and i've been trying to tell him about God. However he brings up hard questions like about how the kids in Africa are suffering and keeps saying why doesn't God save them. I try to answer but I'm not too sure myself. Me and him are only friends and I have boyfriend of 10 months. My boyfriend is willing to accept God and has tried to understand christianity. However when I see my ex-boyfriend (we have the same afterschool activities) we flirt. Does him picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder count as flirting? I have confesed to my boyfriend that I may like my ex and we tried to work it out. It worked until i went on a camp with my ex in the weekend. At night I went to a spare unit it get some sleep and he followed me an we slpet in the same bed. We did not have sex but we did french kiss around 5 times. I feel guilty and unGodly. I told my boyfriend today and he was very upset. He is also leaving to go overseas today and is coming back the day I leave to go overseas so we will not see each other for a month. How can I help my ex so he will get to know God? Was what I did very wrong? What should I do about me and my boyfriend? What should I do in general? Please help me

I pray that our Lord will give me the Words to help you. The first question I want to address is ‘How can you help your ex come to know God?’ I don’t believe that this is your job. This is the job of the Holy Spirit to give revelation to us of God’s love, mercy, and grace. You can not make anyone get to know God. You can only plant the seed or water it.

It seems to me that your ex has a blinder on His eyes and he is being stubborn and hard hearted. He does not want to know God. You said that he is into Satanism. This is the stronghold that is keeping his mind and heart captive.

2 Corinthians 4:4 Satan, who is the god of this evil world, has made him blind, unable to see the glorious light of the Gospel that is shining upon him, or to understand the amazing message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is God.

I think that you should stay away from him. This friendship is a tool in the hands of the enemy to try to confuse you and bring doubt in your mind about your faith and why you believe the way you do. He is trying to get you to question our Lord and His existence. This has always been the devil’s method of operation.

Colossians 2:3 Don’t let others spoil your faith and joy with their philosophies, their wrong and shallow answers built on men’s thoughts and ideas, instead of on what Christ has said.

Regarding the suffering in the world and why a loving God would allow is:

The suffering the world is the result of a falling world, sin is the reason for suffering, sickness, death. The wages of sin is death and sorrow. All of us are sinful, even babies are born with a sinful nature and will eventually grow and sin like everyone else. So no one is innocent. The only that was innocent and suffered was Jesus Christ and our All Knowing God allowed His own Son to suffer and cruel death for us all to have an opportunity to come to Jesus and be saved. He sacrificed His own Son for us. To deliver us from the consequences and final judgment that is coming upon this sinful and rebellious world.

I choose not to question our Lord and His ways, instead I trust Him and take Him at His Word which says that He works EVERYTHING out for our good. (Romans 8:28) No one likes suffering but I have seen our Lord change me and many others through the sufferings in our lives. These sufferings can bring us closer to God. At least they have for me.

One day all this sorrow will end and there will be no more tears and that is the day that all believers await. Until then we must trust our Lord and not allow foolish men to get us to doubt our Lord. Remember that God’s thoughts are so much higher than ours, His ways are not our ways.

Regarding your new boyfriend:

You said that he is not a believer but that he is willing to learn more about Christianity. That is good for him, however may I remind you that our Lord has told us not to be unequally yolked with unbelievers. He is not a believer yet..it seems to me that you are dating men that are not Christians. You are only going to find yourself with division in your relationships regarding your faith.

You have to first build your house on the Rock, Jesus Christ. Draw closer to Him. Read the Word constantly and go to church so that you are with other believers that believe the same as you do. Then once you are really rooted in the Word of God and He is your first love you can expect the Lord to bring you your mate. The one that is to be with you till death do your part. You are messing with all Mr.Wrongs.

Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you sister..

My Ex Left Me With 2 Kids


MySpace Friend Writes... I need ur advise i receantly got out of a 5yr relationship i have 2 kids with this guy. I have nothing i dont want 2 live with my dad ! But i have no were 2 go. And my ex boyfriend broke up with me a week ago and i cant get over him wat should i do? Plz reply

Response... I am sorry that you are going through this. I know how much it hurts, but you can not allow this situation to consume you. You have to allow God to heal you and help you move on with your life.

If this young man as left you and your children and you have no where to go but back home to your dad’s, then you must humble yourself and do that. You have to try to make this situation the least traumatic as possible for the sake of your children. They do not need to be bouncing from place to place. If your dad is willing to take you and his grandchildren in then accept the help until you can stand on your own again. I know that you may not want to go but just thank God that you have somewhere to go.

I remember a time when I had to go back to live with my dad with my boyfriend and two kids. We both worked and saved to get our own place and a better car. This time at my dad’s allowed us to do exactly that. I thank God for my dad’s help.

I would suggest if you have not already, go seek assistance from the state. They will often times help with medical insurance, food stamps, housing, and financial assistance. There are even programs that will help pay for childcare. Make sure that you search out any help that maybe available to you.

Regarding your broken heart and not feeling like you can get over your ex. I have learned in my own life that I can do nothing on my own. I need Jesus to help me deal with every part of my life, especially the difficult and emotionally stressful situations. I am encouraged when I remember what Philippians 4:6-7 in the bible says. It says:

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.”

I no longer stress out no matter what the situation. I trust God with my life and my problems and I want to encourage you to do the same. Allow this to be your fresh start. You can not face this being a single mother alone. You don’t have to. Jesus wants to help you if you will only trust Him with your life. He will be your Provider and your Comfort. He can heal you from the hurt that this young man and this relationship has caused. He will lead you if you will chose to follow Him.

Go before God and pray in Jesus name for God to forgive you and help you. If you confess your sins to Him he will be faithful to forgive you. If you believe in Jesus and ask Him to take control over your life He will. He can make you a new woman. A new creation in Him with the mind of Christ and the power of His Spirit to help you through this life. It’s all about believing in Jesus.

You will find that you will be able to do all things through Christ Jesus, because He will give you the strength and the power to succeed and overcome. If you want to get over your ex love you will need a new Love. The Love of Christ. The One who has always loved you and wants to help you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He does not abandons us EVERY! You can put all of your trust in Him and cast all of your cares on Him because He cares for your every need.

Take it from someone who was a mess, an excon, abandoned by her husband, addicted to drugs, with no hope. That is who I was..now I am a his Trophy of Grace because of what Christ Jesus did for me and in me. He can do the same for you, but you must first trust Him. God bless you sister.

Pressure of Being A Good Christian

God Bless you Sisters, I am 23 and I need help. I have four older sisters and am in a new relationship with a good christian guy. My sisters are very controlling and since I am the young one they treat me with absolute no respect. We are all christians but lately I feel like the pressure of being a good christain girlfriend and being respectful of my sisters is just too much. I am very much a pushover. What should I do to tell them to back off without offending them? And what should I do to not ruin my relationship with my boyfriend?The scripture that comes to mind when I read this is Matthe w 11:28-30

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

These situations with family can be hard. Perhaps your sisters are being over protective of you because you are the baby. I know that can be tough. Although I am the oldest in my family I went to school with cousins and uncles who were older than me and made my life a little tough, but I know that they meant well.

Your sisters should not treat you disrespectfully though. You must address this issue with them so that you are not overcome with anger, frustration, and even bitterness. If you keep shut about it too long you may one day lash out about it the wrong way. Instead go before the altar of our Lord and seek His face about this whole issue. He will give you wisdom and understanding. Ask Him to prepare their hearts and to give you the words to speak to your sisters. He will give you the power to address them courageously, meekly (not weakly), and most importantly in love.

Regarding your relationship with your boyfriend..

You have to also lay this relationship down at the altar. Surrender it to our Lord. If it is meant for you two to be together then it will be. Make sure that you have asked God if this relationship is His is will or yours. Long to do His will no matter what.

If you want a strong relationship then it must be built on the Rock. Go to church together. Pray together often. Read and study the Word together. Commit to pray for one another in your private prayer closet. Encourage one another with the Word. Volunteer at your church together. Ask the Lord to help you both fulfill His plan for your lives. Always remember what 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Waiting, Dating & Mating

Have you ever wondered who invented dating? It’s such a common thing now a days that it seems like everyone is dating and those who are not are dying to start. That got me wondering about the purpose of dating, so as a Christian woman I went to the Bible to see what it had to say about dating, do you know what I found? NOTHING!

The Bible has a lot to say about marriage but not on dating. We think that dating is something that has always existed but it is an invention of the 20th century. The real purpose of dating is to help us select our future husband, back in Bible times you did not select your husband, your father did that for you. Now personally I’m glad our parents don’t chose our husband for us anymore but on the other hand dating the way its done today has gotten out of hand.

The problem is that dating has shifted from something we do to find our future husband to something we do just for fun and now the age at which girls start dating is getting younger and younger. And how about the actual date; back in the day when you were dating a guy he would take you on a picnic or to a carnival, he would buy you flowers, stuffed animal and maybe even write you a poem or love letters. It saddens me when girls tell me that guys don’t do those things anymore. There are two reasons why they don’t. The first reason is that since we’re starting to date so young they simply don’t have the money or skill to do them. The second reason is that they don’t have to; since it’s so easy to get a girl to out with you, make out with you, and maybe even have sex with you why would you bother spending money on flowers?

So, here’s what I’m suggesting ladies; take it slow. What’s the rush? You have a long life ahead of you and if you would just wait until the right time to do things you would enjoy them much more.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-5 says”There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain…”

Get the idea? If you’re no where near ready for marriage this is your time to wait but while you’re waiting you should be thinking about what kind of man you need your husband to be, do you want a man that is faithful? Respectful? Honest? Funny?

During this waiting time you should also be working on your own character, do you possess the qualities that you’re looking for? Also, the waiting period is a great time to get out there and have some fun with your group of friends; observe the guys, scope out who can potentially be a good boyfriend in the future.

The time for dating is when you think marriage could be in your near future (and 10 years is not the near future). I looked up “dating” in the dictionary and this is what it said “to make a date with; go out on dates with” well, it simply means to make an appointment with someone and that doesn’t sound very romantic me.

But, back in the day “dating” used to be called “courting” and that means “To try to gain the love or affection of someone, to seek to marry” isn’t that definition much more romantic? Another word that was used in the past for “dating” is “wooing” it means “to seek to achieve the affection of someone with the intent to romance” the way we date today robs us of good old fashioned romance and what girl doesn’t want to be romanced?

If you rather be courted or wooed instead of just dating there are a couple of things you can do. First don’t start dating too young and second don’t give yourself away. If a guy has access to your body (making out or any type of sex) romance goes out the window because there’s nothing left for him to achieve. But when you don’t give yourself away the right guy, a godly guy will respect and love you more then he will seek to earn your affection and that’s when the romance comes in.

The time for mating (having sex) is when you are married; ALL forms of sex should be kept out of dating and saved for marriage only. That’s what God commands and what’s best for us; sex outside of marriage clouds our judgment, burdens us with emotional baggage and can lead to unnecessary hardships like an STD or an unplanned pregnancy. God created sex to be sacred and when we do it his way (in marriage) it will be amazing!

Ladies, decide you’re worth waiting for; don’t’ get swept up in the dating craze
and don’t let past mistakes keep you from making a fresh start. You can do it!

Show Me A Sign!


Just as God created trees, He created us to be rooted too. Rooted in His word. Rooted in His faith and love. Many are quick to question whether or not He's there for them. Many say, "Well, if God was there then why would he let that happen to me?" Sometimes we have to go through certain struggles in order to continue on the righteous path. Sometimes these struggles are used to humble us or remind us of the walk we should be taking as Christians. In order to truly survive these trials, we must be firm in our walk...

Ephesians 3:17
"so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,"

Colossians 2:6-7
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

... we must be planted on His rock.

Deuteronomy 32:4
"He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he."

Are you waiting for a sign to follow Our Heavenly Father? Look around you. See all that our Lord has created for us; all of the beauty and wonderment that surrounds us, from the rising of the sun to the setting of the moon. He is always with us. The Spirit is inside us, placed there by God at the moment of our salvation.

(prayer) When we look at your world, mighty God, we see how marvelous it has been created. When we look for your kingdom, we find that we have not lived as you and your Son Jesus have taught. Help us to create a kingdom on earth where unconditional love overcomes. Amen.
