Let Your Story Be Heard

As a child of God, you have a powerful story to tell. Sharing how you came to Jesus and the difference He's made in your life can help others discover how they can know God intimately.

God invites us to testify about His goodness so, please, share your testimony with WeUsed2bu. In sharing your testimony, you will bring glory to Christ:

2 Cor 5:18-20
"All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God."

Your testimony might also be the story someone else needs to hear in order to take that leap of faith and draw near to God. It truly is the best way to present salvation to others.

When writing your testimony, ask the Lord to give you wisdom and guidance. Also, ask yourself:

What was your life like before you welcomed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
What were your attitudes? needs? problems?
What was most important to you?
Where did you look for security, peace of mind and happiness?

How did you come to accept Christ, giving Him complete control of your life?
When did you first hear the gospel? When were you first exposed to Christianity?
What were your initial thoughts/reactions about Jesus Christ?
When and why did you begin to feel positively about Christianity?
What was the turning point?
What feelings did you struggle with right before your decision?

What happened after you trusted Christ?
What changes did you see in your life? attitudes? actions?
How long did it take before you noticed change?
What does Jesus Christ mean to you now?

Psalms 96:3
"Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples."

WeUsed2bu wants to provide wisdom and encouragement using the Word of God and life experiences. Let your life story help change the lives of others.

Help show hope; inspiration; encouragement… be a light in these women’s lives.

Revelation 12:11 "And they defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die."

I'm Sorry

Written by: Blessed and Highly Favored

I’m Sorry:

I always argued with you.
I never listened to you.
I wasted my potential on immediate gratification.
I gave away the precious things I thought as common.
I held on to my anger.
I didn’t forgive.
I let fear rule me.
I couldn’t think further than the next ten minutes.
I used you.
I didn’t value you.
I’m always quick to criticize.
I stomped all over your heart.
I made you feel uncertain and worthless.
I thought I could find my worth and identity in a man.
I loved you with conditions.
I always fall short.
I never think about anyone other than myself.
I’m selfish.
I’m prideful.
I wasn’t there when you needed me.
I thought you needed a friend when what you really needed a parent.
I never told you that you were the best thing in my life.
I let you raise yourself.
I wasn’t strict enough.
I let other things get in the way of us.
I let the little things slide.
I never told you about G-d, and just let you figure things out on your own.
I wanted to spend time with my friends than spend time with you doing things that you wanted to do.
I haven’t told you in a long time how precious and valuable you are to me. And that if you were to go away and leave me, my heart would break and I would cry for your return.
I got lost and became something I never wanted to be.

Please forgive me. I’m sorry and I need a second chance. Jesus has come into my heart and I’ve become a Born Again mom. I want to start all over again. Please let me into your life and let me love you the way the Lord wants me to love you; totally, completely, entirely. I will not give you up to the world to raise you because all it can provide to you is a slow death. And Jesus is all about life. Let me in please. I love you.

Mom

In this Christmas season, let us remember it was not Jesus as a baby who paid the price of our salvation, but a grown man who made the decision to give up His life for ours. Remember His Love, and allow yourself the vulnerability to love tenaciously. Merry Christmas.

I Want To Be Saved

MySpace Friend asks: How did you become saved? I always have wanted to be saved, but there's this thing that I've been doing and its hard me to stop.

Response: Well..I have been saved for about 13 years, but I was not surrendered to the Lord. When I realized that my life was a mess and that I was on the wrong path I knew that I needed a Savior. I asked Jesus to be my Savior but I did not start really having a relationship with Him until I was sentenced to prison almost 12 years ago. I started reading the bible alot and I realized that God had good plans for me and that I could be a new and different person with His help and Holy Spirit. You can read my story in our blog section on our myspace..or you can click this link.. http://weused2bu.blogspot.com/2008/05/tropy-of-graces-testimony.html

As far you wanting to be saved..All you have to do is believe, repent, and confess Jesus and you will be saved.

If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (Romans 10:9-10, 1 John 1:9)

As far as whatever is keeping you from accepting Jesus. You will find that as you learn to know God more by reading His Word, praying, and going to church; you will learn to love Him. Loving Him will make you want to obey Him. Plus He gives you the power to obey Him and the way out of temptation when we feel like we just can't resist it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) Don't let anything stop you from coming to Jesus. One day He will return for His people to take them away and save them from the judgement that is going to come upon this wicked and sinful world. You don't want to be left behind..trust me..

Sincerely,

Trophy of Grace
