I Want Her To Be Saved & Not Left Behind

Jesus Girl says... Hey girls! How are u? Anyway I have to ask u something. I have this friend, she is not a Christian and she drinks and smokes and I have been trying to invite her to church and activites from my youth group but everytime I ask her she never wants to come. She always hangs out with her other friends but not me. I am praying for her and her salvation and I know I can't change people only Jesus can but I do want her to know Jesus Christ. Anyways what do I do to show her who Jesus Christ is because I want to bring her to Christ and I want her to be saved and not left behind when Jesus comes back. Please tell me what to do. Thanks girls..GOD BLESS U!

Response... You are definitely doing the right thing. Don’t give up on her.

Galatians 6:9 “ So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Continue to love on her and let her know that you are there for her. Be patient and loving. You may have to give her space and let God draw her to you, if that be His will. Never stop praying and intercede for her.

“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James 5:16

Don’t worry about her not listening to you or not wanting to hang with you. If she refuses to listen when you talk to her about the Lord, she will be won by your respectful, pure behavior. Your godly life will speak to her better than any words. (1 Peter 3:1)

Keep up the good work and be encouraged your friend will be saved. I believe it! I will come into agreement with you now.

Heavenly Father,

We come before you in Jesus name. You see my sister’s heart for this young friend of hers. She desires to see her saved before the rapture of the church. Your Word says that you give us the desires of heart and it also says that it is not your will that any should perish. We do not want this young girl to perish in her sin and disobedience. Please draw her close to you. Lead her to the cross and to your Son Jesus Christ. We believe that what ask you will give us because we asked in your Son’s name and because you love this girl just like you love us. We look forward to the day when we hear that she has surrendered her life to you. We thank you in advance and give you all the glory.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

He Parties All Week & Has No Job

QUESTION:
Me and my boyfriend have been together for about 3months but we have known each other since elementery school. I just broke up with him last week because he goes out 7days a week and gets drunk, he dont have a job but he goes out every night. I told him from the begining that i didnt like that he goes out every night, that he should get up and look for a job, he has been looking for a job and he is a great person, he has a great personality, hes a faithful man and i havent found anybody else like him thats the only problem we have he just goes out too much. I told him to get things together and prove to me that he can do what he has to do and get a job because i wasnt taking care of no man. I told him we would sit down and talk this weekend face to face and maybe take it slow this time but that he has to prove to me that he loves and get his stuff together because i wasnt getting back with him to just waste my time. Do you think i was wrong for breaking up with him, should i take it slow this time..... Im confused and dont know what to do

ANSWER:
I think breaking up with him was for your best interest. You know in your heart that he’s not living his life how God intended (Galatians 5:18-21). Pray about it; trust the feeling God has given you. God is leading you towards Him, steering you away from the temptations of this world. Take this time apart to draw nearer to God. Take into consideration that God may have put this break up in your heart because He has to work on your ex… refocusing his life on more righteous living.

My ex and I had a very similar problem. It took me years to realize that I couldn’t change his ways… that was a battle that he & the Lord had to work through together.

Be there for him as a friend, as you’ve been since elementary school. Pray for him everyday. God willing, he will be able to refocus and get his life back on track. If he is who God intended for you, the Lord will lead you back together. In the meantime, work on building your relationship with the Lord. Through His word we find love, hope and joy.

Sincerely,

Saved by Faith

What Does the Bible Say About Partying and Clubbing?

Lil Bro asks..What does the bible say about partying and clubbing?

Answer..The bible says “Don’t do it!” The bible refers to partying and clubbing as part of our “sinful nature” and goes on to say that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.(Galatians 5:18-21)

Romans 13:12-13 says, “The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy.

This is not because God does not want us to have fun or hang out with our friends. He wants us to use wisdom and be an example for others. We ruin our own testimony by hanging out in these places, drinking, and engaging in ungodly behavior. By being at bars and clubs it may appear that we condone drunkenness and partying. How can we hang out with the devil on Saturday night and go to church Sunday morning as if nothing happened the night before? People are watching and our actions can cause someone else to stumble in their faith. (2 Corinthians 6:3)

Hanging out in clubs and bars only leads to temptation and destruction. I used to do the club scene too. There is nothing there for us any more. There is no positive influence or encouragement found in these places only drunkenness, dirty dancing, drugs, offensive music, fighting, lies, and regret.

The more you spend time with Jesus the more you will find that you will not even desires these things any more. You know in your heart that you are not called to be in those places. Jesus is coming soon we must be prepared at all times.

May our Lord give you strength and courage to accept the truth of His Word. In Jesus name..Amen
