How Do I Break This?

Anonymous writes..

I've been in prison for going on 4 years. I did most of my time pretty well. But for some reason once I got to work release I allowed myself to get involved with a female and at first all was well, but then times got really rough and she turned her back on me. We even got into a little bit of trouble. She hurt me real bad. But my porblem is that when times was good she showed me what it meant to be loved and what I got from her I never got from any man. Now I feel like I'm infatuated with her. I feel like my preference is now going to be women, I know this is a curse, how do I break out of this curse? How do I let go of this woman? She has moved on but I'm still stuck on her. Why? And do I break it?

Dear Sister in Christ,

One of the most effective weapons that the enemy has against us is deception. Even though Christ died to set us free from sin and our bondages to it, we can still allow ourselves to believe a lie when what we see or think seems to fill a hole in our lives. Even though you’ve almost finished your sentence, there’s a new and dangerous situation in your life that has already caused you to sacrifice your true liberty in Christ, and has jeopardized you in the legal sense as well. This is definitely not what God wants for your life--He never wants us to be “entangled again by a yoke of bondage” (Gal.5:1) For you to be able to move forward, you are going to have to trust in God’s Word, His will, and His love for you.

Let’s talk first about how much He loves you, because as someone wisely said, “Rules without relationship equal rebellion.” If you don’t truly understand how much Jesus loves you and wants you to have the best life, then why bother caring about what His word and His will are? The fact is that He loved you so much, He died and rose again so that you could be forgiven and have eternal life. Who else would--or could--do that for any of us? Romans 5:7-8 says, “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” The Lord loved us even when we were unlovable sinners--and now He has made us like Him and given us His righteousness so that we can live in boldness and victory on this earth (Romans 5:17, I John 4:9-10,17). I hope that you have already accepted Him as Savior and Lord of your life, because once you have, you can be absolutely sure that nothing can separate you from Him or His love (Rom. 8:37-39, John 10:28-29) You’ve become a new creation in Him (II Cor.5:17); everything that you used to be is dead and gone, hidden in Him, and removed as far as east is from west (Rom.6:11, Col.3:3, Ps.103:12). Your life is no longer defined by the world, or the desires of your flesh, or the devil--these are all your enemies that are at war with the Spirit of God living in you (Gal. 5:17, I John 2:16). You are His beloved child, and your true desire is that you want to become more like Him, because now you hold the thoughts and intents of His heart, and you have the mind of Christ (I John 3:1-3, I Cor. 2:16).

So, in order to glorify God and become more like Him, we have to know and apply what His word says regarding our lives (Ps. 119:11, II Tim. 3:16). If we try to make our own rules and decisions about how to live, we will eventually destroy ourselves (Pr.14:12, 16:25). But if we follow God’s laws, they will bring us life and health (Prov.4:22). The Bible promises that “As for God, His way is perfect, His word is proven, and He is a shield for those who trust Him” (Ps.18:30) Building our lives on Jesus Christ is the only foundation that will last (I Cor. 3:11) We can ask Him for wisdom, and He will give us all we need, showing us the path we should take and giving us the power to take it (James 1:5, Phil.2:13, 4:13). He wants us to have an abundant life in and through Him, and will never take something away from us wrongfully (John 10:10).

I want to emphasize this point because I know that you are experiencing the loss of this person in your life, and you’re not sure where to find the love you need. Even though you are hurting, this is a critical time to make some decisions that will mean either heartbreak or healing for you. If you choose to believe the truth of God’s word regarding His intention for creation, His ideal for human relationships, and how He designed you and your sexuality, you will be choosing a life that is pleasing to Him and will bring blessing to you and whatever potential generations may come after you. Otherwise, if you choose to go against God’s word, you will be living a lie, bringing more pain and devastation into your life, and ruining your testimony (Rom.1:24-25, I Tim.4:2).

God never created, nor condones, homosexuality in His people. Aside from the many scriptures that expressly prohibit gay relationships ( Lev.18:22, 20:13, Rom.1:24-27), the original intent of His creation of man and woman has to be understood. Before sin entered the world, God designed man and woman to be completing and complementary, physically, emotionally, and spiritually (Gen 2:20-25). After the fall, man was put in a position of headship over woman, but the Lord’s intent was never to dehumanize women. Rather, His ideal was for the male-female relationship to be symbolic of Christ’s position to the church: He is the head, Who gives Himself sacrificially, while she submits lovingly (Eph. 5:22-33). But because sin is in the world, man-woman relationships have often been maligned, with men abusing their power and women rebelling against male authority. Many people have been erroneously drawn to homosexual relationships in part because they suffered at the hand of a person or persons of the opposite sex.

There is also the issue of the fallen human nature itself, which wants to give itself up to things that are futile, unclean, ignorant, and alienated from God (Eph. 4:17-19) This is the mortal “flesh” in all of us that Jesus Christ crucified on the cross (Rom. 6:6,Gal. 2:20,5:24). Even though it has no eternal power over our lives, our flesh will still battle us until the day we die and give up this body for our new heavenly one (Rom.8:7-8, Gal.5:17). It wants to drag us down, because it can only serve the law of sin (Rom.7:25). It’s in our flesh that we find the desires for all things sinful, including homosexuality (Gal. 5:19-21).

But Hallelujah!--we don’t have to serve it! We can present ourselves to God as being alive to Him through Christ Jesus: a new people who are created according to His will, devoted to righteous and holy lives (Rom.6:11,13,19, 7:20, Eph.4:23). We don’t have to listen to what our flesh says it wants, because it lies. We don’t have to do what it tells us to do, because it doesn’t have power over us (Rom. 6:7,12,14), and God will give us a way to escape any temptation (I Cor.10:13). When we find ourselves contemplating a relationship, either hetero- or homosexual, that we know is not Godly, we have to decide who we are going to serve: Are we going to be slaves to our lying, cheating, unredeemed flesh that wants us to sin and suffer for it (Rom. 6:16), or are we going to be obedient to Jesus Christ, Who set us free from the laws of sin and death, and makes us righteous? (Rom.6:16,8:2) If we are being honest with ourselves, there is only one right answer. We need to choose life (Deut.30:19-20).

Please hold on to God’s promise to give you the desires of your heart if you seek Him first, and make his righteousness your highest priority (Matt.6:33). Pray for the faith to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb.11:6). The Lord loves you more than you can possibly know or understand (Eph.3:18-19), and He has a wonderful plan for your life that you couldn’t even conceive of for yourself if you tried (Is.64:4). Ask Him for the strength to move on, “forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 3:13-14) There is nothing you will leave behind that can ever compare to the glory that will be revealed in your life through Him (Rom.8:18, Phil.3:8-9).

Stop Discriminating & Hating. People Are Born Gay

Anonymous says in response to the posting 'I Don't Think I Am Wrong'

This answer is absolutely ridiculous. People are born gay. They don't choose to be gay. Its scientifically proven. Look it up. Therefore, it is not a sin. Stop discriminating and hating. Start accepting and loving.

Trophy of Grace said...

Let me begin by saying that WeUsed2bu Ministries and its counselors DO NOT hate homosexuals nor do we discriminate against anyone. Christ Jesus has put His love in us for all women every where and we accept everyone just the way they are. We are not here to condemn people. We are here to help set the captives free and help believers stay on the narrow road that leads to life. Our commitment is to give advice based on the Word of God which is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12) We are here to speak the Truth of God’s Word without compromise. We are not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were our goal we could not be Christ’s servants. (Galatians 1:10)

People being born gay has not been scientifically proven. What has been proven by the infallible Word of God is that people are born with a sinful nature that we inherited from Adam. We are born with corrupt desires.

Psalm 51:5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

Psalm 58:3 Even from birth the wicked go astray; from the womb they are wayward and speak lies.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned

However, although we are born with a sinful nature and sinful desires that does not mean that we have to act out on them or allow them to define us. Through the power of the Holy Spirit received through faith in Christ Jesus we can overcome any temptation. The temptation of homosexuality can be overcome if one surrenders their life to Christ Jesus and relies on His strength daily. God is faithful. He will not allow the temptations in our lives to be more than we can stand. When we are tempted, He will show us a way out so that we can endure. We just have to choose to take His way out. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

The definition of homosexuality clearly states that it is a sexual desire or behavior directed toward a person of one’s own sex. The Word of God says that these desires and behavior are immoral and detestable. Those who practice them will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Leviticus 18:22 “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.”

Leviticus 20:13 “If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”

Romans 1:24-27 “Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”

When people do not fear God or His Word they will do whatever they think is right in their own eyes. They do not care what God’s Word says they are controlled by their sinful nature and are enslaved to it. Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. Those surrendered to a homosexual lifestyle can never please God because they are committed to their sin instead of to God. (Romans 8:5-8)

But if they will confess their sins to God, repent of their immoral lifestyle, and believe in Jesus Christ then the Most High God will forgive them and they will have right standing with Him.

My God Won't Do Such A Thing

Anonymous Writes: I love your website and God bless you women for all that you do. I was taken back a little by the homosexuality questions. God does not make mistakes, therefore if we are created in the image of Him and if one chooses to like one of the same sex, how can He turn his back on them? The all-loving God I know won't do such a thing, in my opinion. That's what makes me question certain things to like if someone lived a PERFECT life doing good and so forth and unfortunately was born in another region where God was known by a different name or was not even taught therefore the person never knew Him but since they never acknowledged Him, they are going to be sent to Hell? That does not make sense to me. Can you clarify these questions I have? Thanks!

Response: Thank you so much for checking out our site and for your words of encouragement. We really appreciate it. :)

Homosexuality has always been a touchy subject, especially in biblical conversation (such as this). You are right, God does not make mistakes, He is perfect in every sense of the word and He did create us as an image of Him. However our CHOICES don’t always reflect His image or word. The error of our choices, human error, that so many try to pass as God’s will. God’s words are spoken to us, through the bible, and He commands His children obey them, just as parents ask their child to obey their rules. In the aspect of homosexuality:

According to 1 Corinthians 6:9-11:
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

God does not turn His back on His children. In fact, it is the opposite… we turn our backs to the Lord. It is the practice of homosexuality itself that is not accepted by God, not the people. They can be forgiven and their lives can be transformed.

To answer your 2nd question… no one has or can live a perfect life except for Jesus. Somewhere in our thoughts/actions, we fail to reach perfection… “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

Whether taught about God or not, everyone has heard of the gospel in one way, shape or form. He’s revealed Himself to us in our skies, animals, His word in the bible, amongst many other ways. Even if you haven’t acknowledged Him as Lord and Savior, you cannot deny His creations.

Job 12:7-9
But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you.
Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this?

We look at nature and see how supernatural it really is. Clearly, it’s of something beyond our doing.

Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

When Judgment Day comes we will be judged only according to what we know. For our God is merciful, He will not hold us accountable for something we truly were not knowledgeable of.

Even if someone is not familiar with Him, our conscience will lead us to right or wrong. So, if someone doesn’t know about God per say, between their conscience, their knowledge of right and wrong, and their acknowledgement of natural creations, he/she are without excuse and can be held accountable when the day comes.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:20

My Friend Is Hitting On Me

Anonymous wrote... im confused about my sexuality.... i believe in Jesus christ i am a good christian girl n i go 2 church im a virgin but mi bestfriend is coming onto me n fillin my head with sexual unpure thoughts n shes already tried to kiss me n... i dont no wut to do....

Answer...
Someone that is trying to fill your head with impure thoughts and has tried to take advantage of you at a moment of weakness is NOT a friend! Being a Christian, knowing and following the word of Christ means you have to see the enemy's temptations and steer away from them.

Although homosexuality has become more and more acceptable to society, it is still wicked in the sight of God. It is a lust forbidden by God.

Deuteronomy 22:5
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Leviticus 18:22

When God created man and woman He intended that we respect the differences He made between male and female.

Genesis 2:24
Matthew 19:4-6

I think this "friend" isn't really your friend and you should distance yourself from this. Express your Christian values to her and step away from this situation.

I will pray for you to have strength and a clear mind to come out of this victorious.

I Don't Think I Am Wrong! Pt3

Response..I get that but I am who I am and I am a good person. I serve the Lord at all times and I never look back. I love the Lord just as much as I love myself. Why is it soooo wrong for me to love the same sex, let alone love my girl. She means the world to m. She is everything I could ever want and a person. So why should I change and let her think that she is not what I want and she is not who I love. I have a big heart and there is room for the Lord and my girl.

Answer..Let me begin by saying that no one is truly good except for Jesus. We all have sinned and disobeyed God's laws. In fact all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our rightouse acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.

Jesus said, "If you love me, you will obey what I command." He also said "You are truly my disciples if you live as I tell you to, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free." (John 8:30-31,John 14:15) What you are doing is wrong. It is against the Word of God. The bible is clear that any and all sexual relationships outside of marriage are forbidden. It is also very clear that marriage was created to be between a man and a woman.

Anything you put before God is idoltry. You can not serve two masters. You will love one and hate the other. You are fooling yourself if you think that God is ok with what you are doing. His Word does not change. Stop what you are doing before it is too late. Jesus loves you and died so that you could live in victory free from this bondage. There will be a day of judgement.

(Rom. 2:6-7) “God will give to each person according to what he has done. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.”

(2 Cor. 5:10) “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

(Mt. 25:31ff) Jesus made it clear that it was our works or service to others that will help us enter into eternal life.

Again I'm begging now!!! Repent and turn to God!

Sincerely,

Trophy of Grace

I Don't Think I Am Wrong! Pt2

Response..Ok. I see and thanks. I just needed to ask because I do go to church and my church family has taken me for who I am. I am a kind and loving person who is open to eveeryone around me. I don't hide things but I just wantd to know that there are people who can take me for who I am. Not seeing me as just another gay person who has turned against the Lord because it's not like that at all.

Answer..The church, as the body of Christ is called to love and encourage one another. However, we are also called to lift our brothers and sisters up when we see them falling away from the truth. With all the love in my heart and with great urgency I tell you the following:

All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right.(2 Timothy 3:16) You know in your heart that homosexuality and lesbianism is rebellion against God. Jesus died for us knowing we are sinners and while we were still in our sins, but once we accepted the Lord as our Savior we were called to be living testimonies and to bring glory to God. Our life, the way we speak, the way we act, our lifestyle, should be evidence of our faith in Christ Jesus. If we say that we love Him but disobey him by willingly hardening our heats and sinning then our love and our faith is worth nothing.

The Word of God says.. no homosexual will inherit the kingdom of heaven. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11) I am pleading with you repent and turn to God. He will be faithful to not allow this temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) If you continue to harden your heart and live in this lesbian lifestyle you will go to hell. :-(

I know that sounds so harsh but I can not come to you with words of flattery because your soul is at stake. I am not trying to please men. If i was trying to please men I could not be a servant of Christ. This is THE WORD OF GOD.

Sincerely,

Trophy of Grace

I Don't Think I Am Wrong! Pt1

Question..I am gay and I was wondering would that affect the way you look at me? Don't lie because God doesn't like ugly!

Answer..Absolutely not!! I do not look at you any different. I look at you through the love, grace, and mercy God has put in my heart. The only thing I see is a beautiful woman that is deceived by the enemy and trapped in bondage.

When I decided to do this ministry I knew that there would be people that have different beliefs, principles, and life styles than I do. I am not here to judge any one. My heavenly Father has given me a heart to love others. Like God, I hate sin because it only leads to destruction and death. I don't discriminate, to me, sin is sin. I especially do not like the sin of homosexuality and lesbianism because its not what God has created us for. Its goes against the laws of marriage.

I know that Jesus died for all sinners and all sin can be washed away by His blood. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives. The only thing we must do is believe in Jesus Christ, confess from our mouth that he is Lord, and we will be saved.

I will always be here to serve you, in the love of Christ, regardless of your sexuality.

Sincerely,

Trophy of Grace

Getting Married To Another Girl Pt.2

Continued from Getting Married To Another Girl..What Do You Think?

Anonymous responds..That's what I fell for.

Answer..That's exactly what it is a fall..you have fallen for the lies of the enemy. He has been planning since the day you were born to kill you, steal from you, and destroy you. Listen to what Jesus said,"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

The devil is the theif that Jesus is speaking of. He is determined to have your soul and he will send any type of distraction to deceive you and to keep you in bondage. He knows that God is a loving and forgiving God. So if you stop what your doing and realize that you are a sinner in need of a Savior (Jesus) and turn to God asking for forgivenes that He will forgive you. The devil also knows that God is a God of justice and will reward each of us according to our deeds. If in this life we live to please ourselves and live in sin with no regard for God; then when we die we will also live eternally separated from God in hell.

PLEASE...PLEASE READ THIS! IT'S MATTER OF LIFE OR DEATH!

Romans 1:18-32
But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.

Please don't let this be you..I am praying for your salvation.

Getting Married To Another Girl..What Do You Think?

Anonymous asked..So I'm with a female and I love her. We have been going out for three months and we are getting married and getting our own place. What do you think?

Answer.. I think you know in your heart that you were not made to be with a woman. That's not God's will for your life. This decision will eventually cause you severe turmoil. Being lead by our lustful desires only leads us to many regrets and sorrow. Before you go through with this take a moment and pray about how this decision will affect you spiritually.

Marriage was designed by God for a man and a woman. This is His divine plan. The world we live in deceives us into thinking that lesbianism and homosexuality is something that people are born with. Some even say God made them like that. This could not be further from the truth. When he was forming you in your mother's womb He had good plans for you, to bless you, and have a friendship with you.

Some where along the way you walked away from Him. You've allowed the enemy of our souls to convince you that God is far from you, perhaps even that He doesn't exist. This is a lie from the pits of hell. Jesus has never left you! Even at times when you think He wasn't there He was. He can heal you of any hurt and help you overcome any fear you may have of trusting Him, but you have got to stop what you are doing. It is a destructive sin. It is not for you! Trust me! Don't do this..

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. If we confess our sins to him, he can be depended on to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. And it is perfectly proper for God to do this for us because Christ died to wash away our sins. (Romans 6:23, 1 John 1:9)

I will be praying for you. I am asking God to remove the blinders from your eyes and to deliver you from the hands of the enemy. I pray that you do not harden your heart to the love that Jesus longs to give you. May the Lord give you a true revelation of the consequences of this sin and give you a desire to turn and go the opposite way. In Jesus name..Amen

In A Relationship for 3 years, But I Like Girls

B asks..Let me tell you my situation. I have a boy friend that I have been with for 3years and I love him so much. We have a baby girl and she is my world, but I also like girls. I mean I really do a whole lot and I dont know what to do?

Answer..In your heart you must know that being a lebsian is not God's will for your life. He designed you to be with a man. That is why he blessed you with that beautiful baby. These desires are not ones that you were born with no matter how far back they go. This is an issue that many girls & women struggle with today. You are not alone. Society has made it seem like homosexual behavior is acceptable and normal. It is not..God has a better plan for your life.

If you surrender your life, your will, and your desires to Jesus he will make you a new creature. He can make you a vessel of honor if you let him, but you have got to seek God's help on this. My suggestion would be for you to pray-talk directly to God about these desires. He is faithful to hear our prayers. He wants to listen to you. He will give you all of the resources and guidance you need to defeat this temptation. I know you want help or else you would not have asked.

There is a website called Exodus International. They are the largest information and referral ministry in the world addressing homosexual isses. Here is a link where you can read real stories of other women who have battled the spirit of homosexuality. Take a moment and read some the stories and you will see that you are not alone. http://exodus.to/content/blogcategory/25/148/

One of my favorite scriptures is 1 Corinthians 10:13 and I love the way it reads in my bible because it reminds me that I am not alone in the temptations that I fight. It says, "But remember this-the wrong desires that come into your life aren't anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the same problems before you. And no temptation is irresistible. You can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it; for he has promised this and will do what he says. He will show you how to escape temptation's power so that you can bear up patiently against it."I hope this helps..I will be praying for you.
