On again/off again relationships are always difficult because the trust usually slowly fades with every break up. He’s seeking you out at your weakest moment and this kind of manipulation or seduction is not God’s intention.

Pray. Ask the Lord to show you what He would have you do (Philippians 4:6-7).Ask God to give you wisdom (James 1:5). God promises to grant prayer requests that are asked according to His will (1 John 5:14-15). God wants you to make good relationship decisions. God desires you to be happy from your relationships. If you ask God with an open heart, He will give you the advice you need.
