Scriptures Anxiety & Worry


Deuteronomy 31:6 (Amplified Bible) 6Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.


Psalm 86:7 (Amplified Bible) 7In the day of my trouble I will call on You, for You will answer me.


Psalm 139:23-24 (Amplified Bible) 23Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! 24And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.


Proverbs 15:15 (Amplified Bible) 15All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].


Matthew 6:27 (Amplified Bible) 27And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life?
