WeUsed2bu Statement of Faith

Doctrine

1. We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, Who are One. (I John 5: 7)
2. We believe in God our heavenly Father, Who is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent, Who chose us for salvation and predestined us for good works of service. (Ephesians 1: 3-6, 2: 10)
3. We believe in Jesus, fully God and fully man, who shed His blood and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, Who also rose again, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us as our Advocate and High Priest. (Philippians 2: 5-11, Hebrews 4: 14-15, 7: 24-28, 8: 1-2, 10: 10,12,14)
4. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Comforter sent to us by Jesus, to guide us and empower us to fulfill the great commission. (John 15: 26, 16: 7, Acts 1: 8)
5. We believe in the absolute truth and supreme authority of the Bible, that it is to be used for all doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, and that the truth of God’s word sanctifies us. (II Timothy 3: 16, John 17: 17)

Practical Applications

6. We are a non-denominational orthodox evangelical Christian ministry that exists to serve the church, as well as minister to the unsaved, with the love of the gospel, and the truth of God’s word. (I Cor. 2: 12, 25, 27; II Tim. 4: 2, Colossians 1: 28, Acts 1: 8)
7. We believe in the Holy Spirit’s endowment of Spiritual gifts to Christians, and we utilize the gifts of giving wise advice and encouragement to others through our websites. (Romans 12: 8, I Cor. 12: 8)
8. We believe that the women of WeUsed2bu are called to encourage, teach, edify and admonish other women and girls to live wise and pure lives, to do good, and to be submissive to the Word of God. (Titus 2: 3-5, I Tim. 4: 6)
9. We believe that God has allowed and uses our life experiences for such a time as this, so that we can comfort and console others, as we are living testimonies to His mercy, grace, and faithfulness. (II Cor. 1: 4, II Tim. 2: 21-26)
10. We believe that as we share the Word of God, He will honor His promise that it will not return void, but that it will accomplish what He sends it out to do, it will produce fruit, and it will prosper wherever He sends it. (Isaiah 55: 10-11)
