Hey Ladies A little Advice Please
Hey..I want to know why does it hurt to see your ex-boyfriend with another female or when he talks about her. I cried for about 2 hours yesterday cause he has a new girlfriend and it really bothers me. So much that I said off the wall stuff to him, even though he was doing me wrong. He was cheating on me and starting alot of drama. I still have love for him. Why is that? How can I get over him? Cause I feel like it can hurt my future relationships with the next guy?
Response: Why does it hurt? You have not healed yet. The wound is still open. It’s hard to just shut off our feelings towards someone we have broken up with. We may have spent lots of time with them and possibly even have given ourselves to them sexually. If the break up is fresh then of course it’s going to hurt really bad when you see him with someone else and to hear him talking about her may hurt even more. It’s like throwing salt in your open wound.
When that hurt comes up to torment you don’t allow it to mislead you into thinking that you are missing out on something good. Don’t be deceived! You know the truth with this man. He is unfaith and a drama starter. So what are you really missing out on? Instead thank God that this man has been removed from your life. God wants good things for us. He wants us to be with someone who is going to love and respect us. He wants to send us a man that is going to love Him and because of His love for God he will love us too. If we will only be patient and wait on the Lord to send the right guy for us we will be much better off. The Creator of Heaven and earth knows all to well what we need better than we do.
There comes a time in our life when we need to just stop and reevaluate the direction of our lives. Do we like where we’re going? Is this what life is really all about? Are my ways of doing things really working?
When we begin to seek God and desire to have a relationship with Him our lives and our purpose in this world becomes clear. Putting Him first will help us to make wiser decisions for our life. He will guide and lead us all the days of our lives. He will be found by us if we will only seek Him with all of our hearts.
Forget about this man..Let all of this roll of your shoulders. It really will be all good if you will allow the Lord Jesus to heal your heart. Forgive him and let it go, or else it will affect your future relationship. Not all men are the same. There are some good men out there. So don’t lose hope. You just need to seek God first and all of these good things will be added to you.
